About us
We are a small stud with 7 horses. Besides the horses our small family consists of Beastie - a big goodnatured bullmastiff, Emma and Bertram, two very small but very naughty Jack Russell Terriers, and our cats.
Our aim is to vreed typical and rideable ponies with a good temperament.
We haven't always had connemaraponies. My sister and I have had warmblood horses for many years, but when we had lost a couple due to legproblems I decided that I wanted a pony again. It should be big enough for a grown-up to ride it - it should be hardy and have a good temperament, so the obvious choice was a connemarapony.
The pony that I chose was a 10 months old colt - Skousboe Hero and later on the others followed.

The most important horse in my life will always be Frederiksminde Mighty, I owned him for 6 years before he died way to early - I miss him and he will always be in my heart.

13.04.1990 - 21.08.2000 After some years where we exclusively bred connemaraponies we caught the interes for welsh sec. A ponies. We bought the two first colts as companions for the connemara colts at the Fjordglimt Stud; Fjordglimt's Mr. Jackson and Fjordglimt's Mr. Capone. Here started a friendship with Jakob and Lene at the Fjordglimt Stud, and we owe them both great thanks to how our welsh breeding looks like today. It was through Jacob and Lena, we were able to purchase our foundation mare Sunny Hill Little Wendy, and we are very thankful that we got this opportunity.
